Since fibers are cast into mould under a vacuum of -800 mb, no voids are left inside the structure. Construction completed in a single phase does not require secondary bonding. This makes it possible to achieve a fiber/resin ratio of 65/35, a 40% reduction in resin use compared to hand lamination, and a resulting structure higher in quality.

 

Resin infusion is completed in a short 20 minutes. The first specimen of the brand new model will demonstrate its qualities in a race in year 2011, in the cold waves of Scottish seas.
