M.A.T. successfully completed its first production using vacuum assisted infusion.

This new technology available to a very limited number of manufacturers across the world raises the bar for product quality and reliability at M.A.T.

 

The system can be summarized as saturation of all structural fibers and PVC foams used in large parts such as the hull and the deck, once and for all with the resin under a vacuum of -800 mb. Fibers cast into the mould under such a pressure do not allow the occurrence of any voides inside, whereas the use of resin is reduced by 40% compared to hand lamination, resulting in a very high quality structure.
