The new M.A.T. 12 03, launched just two weeks ago, became the first boat to reach to the finish line, passing all buoys ahead of her 23 rivals in the IRC racing fleet in the first leg of 2008 winter trophy organized by Bodrum Offshore Sailing Club.

 

Designed by Mark Mills specifically for the IRC races, and manufactured with advanced technology, M.A.T. 12 bears a substantial advantage against her rivals, with her high speed and favorable TCC. Although the official results are yet to be announced, it is not a wild guess that M.A.T. 12 will get the IRC 1 division title with the best adjusted time of the whole fleet.
