The winners of the first three legs of BAYK Winter Trophy 2008 were announced. The leading boat, M.A.T. 12 03 of Toka Sailing Team is well ahead of the IRC fleet of 47 boats.

 

1-2 March, 3rd leg

 

All races of the 3rd leg were completed with the participation of 47 boats in the IRC division, sometimes under heavy rain, with wind varying between 6 to 20 knots, while M.A.T. 12 03 beat her rivals hollow.

 

M.A.T. 10 racing boats Matador and Norm took the first and second places in IRC B division.

 

M.A.T. 12 team with a mere 9 points so far in the trophy is well ahead of the second runner having 24 points.
